In memory of Barney and Esther Singer

We have been so sad to learn of the passing of Barney Singer and his wife, Esther. Barney was a valued and dedicated member of the community, serving in various roles and positions over the years. Barney was the Chairman of the SAZF (Cape Council) – formally Western Province Zionist Council – from 1980 to 1984. He later became the Vice President of the SA Zionist Federation. Barney and his wife, Esther, were great friends of Israel and gave tremendous support to the SAZF. Barney passed away on the 31 Dec 2020 and Esther passed away on the 5 Jan 2021.

We wish their family long life. We honour both Barney and Esther for their tireless commitment to Israel and Zionism and we know that their memories will most certainly be a blessing.
